Every year for the past several years NJAPPA holds a complimentary meeting on a special topic of interest for our Educational Institution members only. This year’s meeting topic is “Developers and Higher Education: P3 Development”. We will explore the trend of Private Development Companies, local Municipalities and Institutions of Higher Education working together to expand, update and improve facilities in a cost-effective manner, impact community renewal/gentrification, job growth and generate fair profits for developers.
We have seen examples of this trend all across the country, and specifically in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and many institutions are expressing interest in utilizing this approach at their institutions of higher learning.
Rowan University will present an overview or their most recent undertaking with Nexus Properties and Glassboro, NJ. Also presenting various aspects of the process, pros & cons, variations of agreements and leases will be representatives from The College of New Jersey, Rutgers University, & DEVCO Development Corporation.
There will be a moderated panel discussion and Q and A period followed by lunch and a tour of Rowan’s recently developed facilities.
We look forward to seeing you there! REGISTER TO ATTEND
