Become a Business Partner

The ERAPPA Business Partner membership is open to companies of all sizes who are interested in the facilities aspects of the education marketplace. If your business provides products and/or services to the facilities management marketplace or who have an interest in reaching facilities managers in the education environment (from the mid-Atlantic region of the US to Eastern Canada), than your firm should strongly consider becoming a Business Partner member of ERAPPA.

The following sections provide information on the benefits of a Business Partner membership, contact information for the ERAPPA Business Partner committee members, information on fees and how to join, and links to various supporting information, including a Best Practices for Business Partners of ERAPPA, and an Application to become a Business Partner.

Membership Fee

OK, now that we talked about the great benefits of joining, let’s talk about the membership fee. ERAPPA is a not for profit entity. Both Institutional members as well as Business Partner members pay a membership fee.   The membership fee helps to defer costs for various educational programs and networking opportunities as well as outreach through various methods including the cost of this website.  There is sometimes confusion among members with regard to membership in a local chapter (such as SNEAPPA or NJAPPA) versus a region (such as ERAPPA) versus the overall APPA organization.  You may join as many of the 10 local chapters in the Eastern Region of APPA as you wish, but that does not automatically cover your membership in the ERAPPA.  Likewise membership in APPA does not automatically enroll your firm in ERAPPA.

Being an active, Business Partner member with ERAPPA for nearly 12 years, I am happy to express my appreciation for the collaborative interactions and long-standing relationships that I have been able to nurture. ERAPPA truly enables it’s business partners meaningful engagement, and fosters an atmosphere of information sharing across all membership alike.” – Amy Baker, Northeast Regional Sales Manager, Jacobs Global Buildings

For ERAPPA Business Partner membership and benefits only (no APPA membership), the membership dues rate is $600.00 for the year and it applies to the company (not the individual), and it entitles you to early priority for attending the annual meeting and selecting an exhibition booth should your firm decide to register for the annual meeting (separate fee).
Please note that these are 2015 membership fees, and they are subject to change.
Membership applications are completed through the APPA website at http://appa.org/membership/businesspartner.cfm.
So don’t delay, join today! If you have any question, contact the ERAPPA Vice President for Membership
