Selection Criteria APPA Awards
1. A request for recipients of APPA Awards will be published in the Spring ERAPPA Newsletter asking the Chapters to submit names to the Chairperson. Likewise, Board Members will be asked for potential recipient names during the Fall Board Meeting.
2. Names will be submitted to the Chairperson prior to January 15th.
The Committee will make a report of recommendations to the Board not later than February 1st. This will enable the Senior APPA Representative to propose the names to the APPA Board during the February Executive Board Meetings on/about February 15th.
If approved by the ERAPPA Board, the President of ERAPPA will request the Senior APPA Representative to formally nominate the selected individuals to the APPA Awards and Recognition Committee for consideration for award selection.
Recipients will be notified of the results by the APPA Executive Board to enable their potential attendance at the Annual APPA Meeting. APPA will also notify the ERAPPA President with the same information.
The ERAPPA Board will make arrangements for recognition of these same individuals during the ensuing ERAPPA Annual Meeting Awards And Recognition Ceremony. The recognition is usually made by the APPA Representative to the ERAPPA Annual Meeting.
