ERAPPA Emeritus Membership

Emeritus membership in ERAPPA is a high honor that is only granted to retirees who have made a significant contribution to ERAPPA, its chapters and the facilities management profession. Emeritus membership has been designed to recognize and express appreciation to distinguished retired members for their contribution and commitment to the region.

• Continued contact with ERAPPA and Facilities Management Colleagues
• Discounted registration fee for attendance at ERAPPA Annual Meetings
• Entitlement to hold ERAPPA committee appointed office

Qualification Requirements:

• Significant contribution toERAPPA or its chapters
• Retirement from the Facilities Managementprofession
• ERAPPA Board of Directors'approval

Once a completed application is received, the VP Membership will send a confirmation email to the applicant indicating the application has been received and outlining the award process.   The application will be sent to each Board member for board review and approval consideration. 

Once a decision is made, the ERAPPA President will contact the applicant.  If successful, and the applicant has indicated they also want to be considered as an APPA Emeritus member, the application will be forwarded by the President to APPA headquarters for approval by APPA’s Board of Directors as an APPA Emeritus Member.

  APPA Emeritus Membership

Once your approved ERAPPA application has been forwarded to APPA, the applicant will be notified by APPA of their application status once the approval process is complete. They may be contacted if additional information is needed to process your application.  APPA Emeritus membership is granted by approval of the Board of Directors to a retired individual who has made significant contributions to APPA, the region, and/or the facilities management profession.  Emeritus Member status is considered a high honor

Note that the ERAPPA application form is based on the APPA application form and thus can be used for APPA Emeritus membership consideration by the APPA Board.

Emeritus Membership is free, but this is subject to change based upon the cost of providing services and approval by APPAs Board of Directors.
