By Steve Peary, Gary Hill & Paul Campo
Our chapter, consisting of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, has a director's position representing each state. Each position holds a two year term, with a maximum of two terms per person. Directors are chosen through the election process, held every other year at the Spring Chapter Meeting. But what exactly is a State Director- and who is your current director?

Chapter Membership Recognition Pins |
By Leo J. Deon, NNECERAPPA Vice President

Have you ever wondered what the little green pins many of the attendees wear at our Chapter meetings are? Have you often said to yourself, "I wonder how I can get one?"
These pins are the Chapter's recent initiative to recognize our most valuable asset, you the member. Whether an institutional member or a business partner, you may be eligible for a pin based on the number of years you been involved in NNECERAPPA. The pin categories are Member, 5 Years, 10 Years, 15 Years and over 20 Years. There is also one specifically for EMERITUS. So, if you are retired from Facilities and through your many years of Chapter involvement have received EMERITUS status, there is also a pin for you.

Spring 2012 at Phillips Exeter Academy |
By Anita Bailey

Phillips Exeter Academy will be welcoming NNECERAPPA members to our campus on March 8 & 9, 2012, for the spring chapter meeting. With a theme of "Preserving Our Heritage", we will be showcasing our campus that dates back to 1781. On the morning of registration, in addition to a tour through our recently renovated Central Heat Plant, we will also offer a general tour with an historical perspective. With past students such as Daniel Webster and Robert Todd Lincoln (whose dad visited him here when he was running for president), our history is rich.

K - 12 Schools: an asset to our membership |
By Anita Bailey
Kindergarten through Grade 12 schools have officially been a part of our NNECERAPPA membership for some time, but that has not always been the case. At one time, Institutional Memberships, with the right to vote and hold office, were only open to higher ed institutions- colleges and universities. In contrast, our current chapter board has two of its six members representing K-12’s.
