Next meeting With the warmer weather upon us (at least I hope), it is time to gather for our annual summer "Lobster Bake." I am pleased to announce that WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) will be our hosts. The date is Thursday, June 19, 2008 with the program beginning at 9 am. In planning for our summer meeting at WPI, the board chose to vary from our normal educational sessions and pursue a keynote speaker. In doing so, we have selected Brad Montgomery to provide us with an entertaining, motivational and humorous two-part session. Please check out Brad’s website at www.BradMontgomery.com. I also encourage all levels of management to attend as the program is designed to be enjoyable and compelling for everyone. Please review the attached agenda (click here) for the schedule of the day’s events. Registration begins at 8 am, followed by a continental breakfast and the business meeting, including election of Board members and new officers. A tour of the campus (beginning at 1:30 pm) is offered to everyone. In order to help us plan accordingly, please remember to submit your registration by June 12. As always, I welcome any suggestions or ideas that will enhance the ability of our chapter to grow and prosper. I look forward to seeing you on June 19 and thank you for your continued support of SNEAPPA. Sincerely, Neal Lespasio
Norm Young (University of Hartford), 2003 ERAPPA President and 1997
SNEAPPA president continues to serve as ERAPPA's liaison to serve on APPA's
Information and Research Committee. Are you looking to join? : Joining Southern New England APPA is really simple. Come to a meeting. That's it. Unlike its parent organization APPA and ERAPPA where there are costs (and good benefits), SNEAPPA just requires you to come to a meeting and pay for your meal. It really is that simple, whether you are a business partner, an affiliate member of APPA or ERAPPA, or part of a college/university. If you need more information, please contact any officer on the Board (see the Current Officers link). We meet 3-4 times a year and it is a great opportunity to interact with members of the various institutions and businesses. If you are looking to be involved in ERAPPA, please go to www.erappa.org |
