NJAPPA continues to be provide professional development opportunities to various levels of the facilities profession. In March, we held our Spring Conference at the Stockton Seaview Resort and provided our membership the opportunity to “Create Leaders Out of Followers” where Timothy Tobin served as our keynote speaker. In June, Montclair State University served as the host site for a Supervisors Toolkit. 35 participants received some great training from Michelle Frederick of American University. The feedback we have received has been very positive and people are already asking when NJAPPA can host another Supervisors Toolkit program. On October 20, 2017 NJAPPA will be having our Fall General Membership Meeting at Kean University. Please save the date and look out for future details about this upcoming professional development opportunity.
Our friends at the Maryland / DC Chapter will be hosting the ERAPPA 2017 regional conference this year in Washington DC. The Omni Shoreham Hotel will be the venue for this great conference that will take place from October 29 – November 1, 2017.
