Rick Battistoni
Richard Battistoni - St. Michael's College

Rick has been the Associate Director of Facilities at Saint Michael’s College since 2000. His responsibilities include project management, occupational environmental health & safety, OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance and campus utility oversight. Prior to this, he worked at Fletcher Allen Health Care as an industrial hygienist and at Clay Point Associates, Inc. as an environmental consultant. His involvement with NNECERAPPA started in 2000 and has held various positions within the Chapter including Chair of the NNECERAPPA Professional Development Committee (PDC) and ERAPPA representative to the APPA PDC.

Paul Campo - University of Vermont

Paul is in his 10th year with the University of Vermont, currently serving as the Quality Assurance Administrator for Custodial Services.  He has 22 years of experience in large scale facilities management or higher education institutions.  His main focus today is on work loading, performance measurements, sustainability (environmental & economic), and project/vendor coordination.   Paul has also served two terms as Vermont State Director.  He has a BA from SUNY Geneseo, completed the Facilities Management Institute, is a Registered Executive Housekeeper (IEHA).

Jessica is the Assistant Director of Finance & Administration for Facilities Management at the University of Southern Maine; she has worked at USM since 2005.  Her responsibilities include purchasing and procurement in addition to all human resource functions for the department. She first attended a NNECERAPPA chapter meeting in the fall of 2011 and became a member of the chapter's board in 2013. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in Leadership Studies she has completed 1 out of 4 tracks of the APPA Facilities Management Institute.

New Hampshire - Gary Harper - Derryfield School

Gary Harper is the Director of Facility Operations at The Derryfield School in Manchester, NH.  With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and higher education facilities management, Gary serves on the school's Buildings and Grounds committee, is co-chair of the institution's strategic plan as it relates to school buildings and co-chaired the committee in charge of developing the Derryfield's Master Facilities Plan.  In addition, Gary manages life safety, code compliance, student transportation, outside group rentals and plays a role in managing the school’s food service. Gary was recently elected New Hampshire State Director for NNECERAPPA and is serving on the ERAPPA 2018 host committee.

Vermont - Tom Baker - Norwich University

Tom Baker has worked at Norwich University Facilities Operations for 21 years. He has held several positions including groundskeeper, Building Maintenance Inspector, Facilities Operations Scheduler, Custodial Services Manager and Grounds supervisor. Tom has served as the secretary of the Norwich University Staff council. He has completed 2 of 4 tracks of the APPA Facilities Management Institute.

John is the Assistant Director for Operations at St. Paul’s School in Concord NH; he has served in this position since 1995. His responsibilities include operations & maintenance, safety, campus utility procurements, and project management. Prior to this, he was a Project/Service Manager for 15 years at Longchamps Electric. His involvement with NNECERAPPA started in 2007. He was elected Secretary/Treasurer from 2011-2013 and is currently the NNECERAPPA President and ERAPPA 2018 Co-Chair. John has an Electrical Degree as well as being a graduate of APPA’s Facilities Management Institute and Leadership Academy.

Kathy Kokin
Kathy is thrilled to bring many years of Executive Assistant experience to NNECERAPPA.  Her career has spanned many fields including construction and development, marketing, business development and corporate communications to name a few.   Kathy has been working in Facilities Management at Phillips Exeter Academy for the past seven years and has finally found the perfect fit for her skill set and personality.

Tim Garland - Keene State College - Professional Development Chair

Tim Garland is the Electrical Shop Supervisor at Keene State College. He is a licensed NH Master Electrician with over 13 years of experieince in a higher education setting. In addition to guiding staff in the regular maintenance and operation of the college's electrical and fire alarm systems, he oversees several contracted vendors, has provided project management for a number of  sustainability and life safety upgrades for the campus, and is the liason to Keene State's property insurance carrier. Tim served as the chair of KSCs Operating Staff Council for seven years, and has served on numerous other commeittees, including the Human Resources Planning Advisory Board and the Strategic Planning Council. He is a 2014 graduate of the APPA Institute for Facilities Management, and holds both the APPA EFP and CEFP credentials. Tim served on the 2014/2015 APPA review team tasked with a broad based evaluation of the Institute's content, delivery, and relevancy.


Richard works at The University of Vermont (UVM) as the Energy Management Engineer. An employee at UVM for over 24 years, Richard has performed many high-level energy projects across campus – including solar / wind renewable energy projects, LED lighting upgrades, HVAC optimization / controls, retro-commissioning type projects, and LEED related energy conservation measures (ECM’s).   Richard has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Vermont, is Building Operations Certified (BOC), has his Certified Energy Management (CEM) designation, as well as a graduate of APPA’s Institute for Facilities Management. Richard has served on a number of NNECERAPPA and ERAPPA conference related educational events over the years and is currently the long-standing Board Member Co-chair of the NNECERAPPA Business Partner Liaison committee.  Successful completion and certification with the APPA CEFP program.

Billy Gagnon
Billy Gagnon - Phillips Exeter Academy - Technology Chair

Billy is a shift coordinator for the Facilities Management department at Phillips Exeter Academy. He oversees the evening operations as well as staff responsible for cleaning and events & services. Billy joined the academy in 2013 and is currently enrolled in professional development classes at the University of New Hampshire. He joined the chapter in 2016 and filled the position as Technology Chair in Spring 2017. He's designed multiple webpages in the past using classic html formulas. 

Hank Dozier - Retired - Emeriti Chair

One of the chapter's original founders and its first VP ; succeeded Dick Eustis to become chapter's 2nd pres. Hosted chapter's 2nd semiannual neeting at UNH , Durham NH . Conceived of "VENDOR SUPPORT"  (known now as "Business Partners") and after expenses chapter's first real income in amount of $1,400 to $ $ 2,000 went into treasury. Project new growth of emeritus folks from both NH and Vermont , initially with semi annual gatherings within the two states and then we can amalgamate with Maines large group.

As the Director of Training for Clean-O-Rama, Northern New England’s leading janitorial supplies distributor, Kathryn brings over 18 years of industry experience to her customers, including higher education, K-12, private schools and healthcare. Her customized approach to each customer, provides solutions and measured results that build partnerships for the long term.  Kathryn is an active member of ERAPPA, NNECERAPPA, Tri-State ASBO, and EPMA.  She has delivered timely topic seminars for these organizations, as well as The Facilities Masters Group and the One-Maine Health Organization.  Kathryn is a CIMS-GB certified expert, ISSA CITS certified trainer, and Board Member and Past President for the New England Sanitary Supply Association.
