The 2018 NNECERAPPA Annual Conference, co-hosted by the Southern New Hampshire University and The Derryfield School, will be held at the SNHU campus in Manchester, New Hampshire, March 15-16, 2018. Registration is open! Make plans to join us.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Refunds less a $25 administration fee will be given prior to March 2nd. After March 2nd, no refunds will be issued but substitutions will be allowed.

#1: This tour will include visits to SNHU’s new Penman Stadium and facility building, and also a visit to the new College of Engineering Technology and Aeronautics. Penmen Stadium includes features such as a turf field with an 8-lane track; track & field events area; 6 tennis courts; and 300 parking spaces. The accompanying facility building is 34,000 sf housing 5 varsity home locker rooms, 2 visiting locker rooms, officials and staff locker rooms, a full athletic training facility including a strength conditioning wing, public bathrooms and ticket office, coach/staff offices, a media and production suit, and a multi-purpose event space. The College of Engineering Technology and Aeronautics is a 30,000 sf engineering facility that includes: 4 classrooms; 3 computer labs; robotics, mechanical and electrical labs; an aeronautics lab with wind tunnel; air traffic control tower and radar simulator rooms; and a 1900 sf machine shop.

#2: This tour will visit the Library Learning Commons which won the 2017 AIA New Hampshire Excellence in Architecture Design Award, Honor Award, and also Kingston Hall. This is a 5-story, 110,000 sf dorm and has 260 units (90 singles/146 doubles). Construction began in May 2017 and is forecasted to end August 2018.

12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Opening Luncheon, Welcome Remarks, & Keynote Speaker: Terry Waldron - Waldron Engineering and Construction, Inc.
Terence Waldron has 35 years of experience working in the power industry. Upon graduation from Columbia University Mr. Waldron started work with Stone and Webster in the design of nuclear power stations. After two years in a shrinking industry Mr. Waldron moved his focus to the new world of cogeneration that became a reality with the PURPA regulations. Mr. Waldron founded Waldron Engineering in 1992 with a focus on providing utility grade engineering services to the private sector. Under Mr. Waldron's stewardship Waldron Engineering & Construction has 24 combined heat and power plants in operation, and 7 electric generating facilities.
