Partners In Education (PIE) is an ERAPPA program, which provides financial support to help offset the professional development costs of a chapter hosting a meeting. PIE funds are available via application to support a wide range of educational programs (e.g. keynote speakers, specialized training [such as APPA Leadership or Covey training], etc.). Eligible costs for PIE funds include speaker fees, speaker travel costs, required educational materials, additional required AV support, etc.
Each chapter is eligible to apply for $2,000 US per year to support their programs. Forms are to be submitted to the Vice-President of Professional Development within the appropriate fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) for assessment and approval. This financial support is here to help chapters provide high quality educational opportunities to their membership and we encourage chapters to take advantage of the funds.
