Gary Goss, Yale University

I am honored to be nominated as a candidate for the ERAPPA Board of Directors. With over 20 years of experience in Facilities Management, I currently serve as Head of Facilities at the Yale Center for British Art, where I oversee daily operations, capital planning, and cross-departmental coordination to support one of the world’s leading art museums. Throughout my career, I have managed combined operations and capital budgets totaling nearly $20 million, ensuring fiscal responsibility while advancing institutional priorities. I have been an active contributor to ERAPPA for more than seven years through conference presentations, mentorship, and peer engagement. In 2023, I was proud to be recognized with the ERAPPA Rising Star Award at the Saint John Conference. My passion lies in fostering collaboration, professional development, and innovation within our profession, and I am committed to advancing ERAPPA’s mission and supporting our members as a member of the Board.
Contribution to ERAPPA’s Mission
In service to ERAPPA’s vision of advancing and transforming facilities management, I bring a commitment to financial stewardship, collaborative leadership, and professional development. My experience overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets has equipped me with the skills to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective allocation of resources that align with ERAPPA’s strategic priorities. I am dedicated to fostering member engagement, expanding opportunities for learning and knowledge exchange, and strengthening the association’s long-term sustainability. By leveraging my background in both operations and capital planning, I aim to support ERAPPA in delivering value to its members, promoting innovation across our profession, and fostering the development of the next generation of facilities leaders.
