Partners In Education
Partners In Education (PIE) is an ERAPPA program that provides financial support to help offset the professional development costs of a chapter hosting a meeting. PIE funds are available via the application form to support a wide range of educational programs (e.g. keynote speakers, specialized training [such as APPA Leadership or Covey training], etc.). Eligible costs for PIE funds include speaker fees, speaker travel costs, required educational materials, additional required AV support, etc. Each chapter is eligible to apply for $2,000 US per year to support their programs. Forms are to be submitted to the Vice-President of Professional Development within the appropriate fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) for assessment and approval. This financial support is here to help chapters provide high-quality educational opportunities to their membership and we encourage chapters to take advantage of the funds.
