ERAPPA CEFP Credentialing Program Subsidy

Obtaining the CEFP is both a personal commitment and a professional development journey. And it is APPA | Leadership in Education Facilities management training, best practices, standards, and research – that supplies you with the training tools that take you on your path to success.

The Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) credential represents the highest standards of performance and understanding in educational facilities management. CEFP is the only facilities credential that focuses on your professional development while encompassing the full, multi-disciplinary range of educational facilities management principles and practices – from planning, design, and construction to daily operations and general management.

ERAPPA is committed to investing in your professional development by offering access to APPA’s CEFP Credentialing Program at a reduced cost of $550. Up to 30 subsidized coupons are available this budget year for eligible applicants.

Eligibility
This opportunity is available to all ERAPPA institutional members in good standing.

Program Details

  • Each coupon covers the cost of the CEFP prep course and exam.
  • The $550 fee must be paid upfront by the applicant and will be reimbursed upon successful completion of the testing process, regardless of exam outcome.
  • Coupons will be available from September through February.
  • Coupons are non-transferable.

Course & Exam Information

  • The prep course and exams are offered exclusively online.
  • Once purchased, you will have 90 days of access to the online prep course.
  • The exam must be scheduled within 30 days of the prep course expiration.
  • CEFP credential holders must accrue 120 APPA units every four years and apply for renewal. (For details, visit APPA Recertification).
  • Recertification costs are not included with this offer.

Requirements for Reimbursement
By using an ERAPPA discount coupon, you affirm that you will:

  • Take the CEFP exam within 30 days of the prep course expiration.
  • Obtain prior authorization from your immediate supervisor or manager.

Supervisors or managers must send an authorization email to certification@appa.org, including the applicant’s name and email address. Once APPA receives this email, you will be able to register for the course using the ERAPPA coupon.
